Every year, on the last Sunday in May, The Creekside Hotel in Warracknabeal hosts an outdoor food festival called FOOD FEST. The aim of the event is to gather families and friends together to showcase quality food and wine.
CREEKSIDE FOOD FEST is held in the picturesque outdoor garden area overlooking Yarriambiack Creek.
People can wander around specialty food stalls, sampling an extensive range of quality foods with a focus on fresh, quality produce. What happens on the day?
Creekside Food Fest starts at noon and continues all afternoon, finishing with fireworks after dark. There is live bands all afternoon and into the evening.
There are a range of activities for the kids such as a jumping castle and rock climbing, plus the very popular lolly table. Live cooking stations serve freshly-cooked food all day, providing a variety of options to satisfy all palates. The festival also includes food and wine inspired stalls, and there is beer and wine tasting as well. Entry is free.
